Maria Patsalos


Maria is a Partner in the Private department at Mishcon de Reya advising individual and corporate clients on all areas of Immigration law.

Maria is on the steering committee of the Mishcon Pride network as well as the steering committee for the Gay Women’s Network. Maria founded and supervises the immigration element of Pink Law, a free legal advice service for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals run via Queen Mary University. Maria is also a Role model for the charity Diversity Role Models which involves speaking in schools to ensure that homophobic bullying is eliminated.

She has been quoted in the FT, the Times, The Guardian, the Evening Standard and Channel 4 online in relation to topical immigration matters. She also advises a prime time BBC drama series in relation to their immigration story lines and provides commentary on high profile immigration cases on BBC television and radio.
