Megan is a management consulting analyst at Accenture and a Teach First Ambassador. Megan completed the Teach First Leadership Development Programme as a Secondary English teacher in the London region and was also selected for a summer project with Credit Suisse. She now works in Accenture’s Talent & Organisation practice with experience in training, communications and change management – designing, developing and delivering a wide range of resources for stakeholders. Outside of client-facing work, she is co-lead for the UK Pride (LGBT+) Network at Accenture and volunteers as a role model with Diversity Role Models. As co-lead for Accenture’s Pride Network, Megan represents over 200 LGBT+ colleagues and over 3000 Allies. She also oversaw the implementation of a gender dysphoria healthcare offering and frequently has conversations with multiple clients to support their LGBT+ networks and to drive collaboration outside of Accenture. In this leadership role, she has implemented and driven a key objective for Accenture’s Pride network around intersectionality – exploring the diversity of the LGBT+ community, including ethnicity, mental health, religion, gender and family and sharing these experiences via a storytelling campaign and various media formats. She has also recently written an extended piece of thought leadership which explores the origins of the lack of visible LGBT+ women in the workplace and how to tackle the problem.
